Do you like or dislike speaking in public?
I really, really absolutely hate speaking in public if I have to stand in front of an audience. Now, if I can speak from my chair even if I have to stand up to speak, it does not bother me. Standing in front of an audience causes me to lose my train of thought and I drift off the subject. I have even had blank moments when my brain decides that it needs to take a nap or something along that line. I feel like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming car.
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

I am basically shy and once I get started I am fine but it is the stage fright that gets me every time. I do better if I have a table or something to lean on. Are you ready for the holidays? Judi
my goodness woman….where have you been?
I’m exactly the same way. I hope all is well with you and you’re getting ready for the holidays! ^_^
see…you have the same problem that i have…and yes oh my goodness I can’t believe you posted something!!! lol jk.. i know that you have been really busy. Love ya.
Hiya. I am ok with speaking in public. I don’t have any problems speaking to a whole room of my peers or entertaining people but in a more formal occasion like giving a serious presentation to senior management that are out to see me fail – that could be nerve wrecking.
